Two Vic teenagers caught joy-riding

Two joy-riding teenage boys have been arrested after leading Victorian police on an extensive chase in a stolen car.

The pursuit, involving a police helicopter, dog squad and two off-road motorcycles, began when the two 15-year-olds refused to pull over on Tuesday afternoon.

Police chased the car as it crashed through several farm fences before stopping in a Bacchus Marsh paddock, west of Melbourne.

The boys fled and were not found and arrested until Wednesday morning.

Police say they are questioning the pair over the alleged theft of the car and a number of other incidents that have occurred over the past three days.
