Two Queensland firefighters stood down over fraud

Two Queensland firefighters have been stood down over allegations of corruption.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) said the officers have been stood down with pay while reports of corruption procurement processes are investigated.

Another person's secondment to QFES has been cancelled.

"The matter was referred to the appropriate authorities," a spokesperson said.

QFES has ordered an independent internal audit of procurement as well as a disciplinary investigation.
