Two pedestrians thrown into the air after being hit by car in Sydney

Two men have been seriously injured after a car veered onto the footpath in Sydney’s inner-city yesterday afternoon.
Police believe the 71-year-old driver may have suffered a medical episode and lost control of her car around 5pm.
The impact threw the men five metres into the air and over a wall.
Both men, aged 29, were taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
One of the men suffered multiple fractures as well as head and internal injuries. He remains in a critical condition after undergoing surgery.
The second man is also being treated for serious leg injuries.
The driver was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where she was treated for a chest injury.
Police are calling for anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward as they continue their investigations.
