Two men on the run following assault and robbery in Logan

Two men are on the run after allegedly assaulting and robbing a man in Logan yesterday afternoon.

A 45-year-old man told police he was walking through bushland in Springwood yesterday, between Chatsworth Road and Paradise Road, at about 4.15pm when he was approached by a pair of men.

The two men asked him for a cigarette, but when he refused he alleges they struck him on the head and stole his wallet.

The man made his way to Springwood Police Station before he was taken to Logan Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The men who allegedly attacked him are both described as being Caucasian and aged in their mid to late 20s.

One is described as being 175cm tall with short red hair and medium build. He was wearing a black t-shirt at the time.

The other is described as being around 183cm tall, of a slim build and was wearing a grey hooded jumper.
