Two men on the run after Ipswich service station armed robbery

Two men are on the run tonight after holding up an Ipswich service station with a rifle.

The night shift attendant was working alone when two men forced him behind the counter, demanding he empty the cash register and open the safe.

Security cameras at the station show the incident clearly, and also capture audio.

When the attendant calmly tells the men his code for the safe will not work, one of them snaps, swearing at him.

Eventually satisfied he is telling the truth, the men settle for cash and cigarettes before fleeing the scene.

One of the men is also heard screaming out his accomplice’s name “Jordy”.
