Two men injured in separate shootings in Melbourne overnight

Two men have been shot in separate incidents involving firearms in Melbourne overnight.
Police were called to reports of gunshots being fired on Dallas Drive in Dallas at about 12.30am.
Officers searched the area and a short time later a man in his 20s presented to a nearby hospital with a suspected gunshot wound to his leg.

Emergency services were then called to Johnstone Street in Jacana at 1.45am where a man, also in his 20s, was found inside a car with a suspected gunshot wound to his pelvis.
He was transported to hospital for treatment.
Police said they will speak to the men later today but do not believe the shootings were linked.
