Two men fighting for life after late-night stabbing northeast of Melbourne
Two men are in hospital after a double stabbing northeast of Melbourne last night.
Police were told a group of up to four men were allegedly involved in an assault near the intersection of Middlesex Crescent and Yorkshire Crescent in Shepparton about 11.15pm.
It is alleged one man stabbed two men, seriously injuring them.

A 20-year-old man suffered a life-threatening injury to his lower body and was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital.
Another man, 35, also received a life-threatening injury to his torso and was also airlifted to the same hospital.
A 32-year-old man was also taken to hospital with a minor injury.
Police arrested a man, 38, nearby and he was also taken to hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
