Car roll accident kills two near NSW-Victoria border

Two people have died after the car they were driving in rolled near the NSW-Victorian border in the state's Far West this morning.

Police say a motorist saw that a sedan had crashed off the Silver City Highway, about 13 kilometres south east of Dareton around 3.15am.

The bodies of two people were located near the vehicle, which had rolled several times.

Police are urging any witnesses – including motorists with dashcam vision – to come forward with information.

The Silver City Highway remains closed with diversions in place.
