Two armed men rob WA Subway store

Two men have robbed a Subway store in Perth, pointing a firearm at customers and threatening staff with a knife.

The men entered the shop in Maddington, south-east of Perth's CBD, on Wednesday night demanding staff hand over cash.

One of the men brandished a firearm which he pointed at two customers who were seated, forcing them to kneel on the ground, police said.

The other man, holding a knife, made his way behind the counter and coerced a female employee into opening the till.

The offenders fled the scene with a sum of cash.

Police have released CCTV images of the men they wish to speak to in relation to the incident.
