TV host given ultimate Mother's Day surprise while live on air
A television presenter has received the ultimate Mother’s Day gift after her daughter flew from London to surprise her live on air.
Nikki Vincent, a host with the TV Shopping Network, was left speechless and in tears when her 28-year-old daughter Chyna, who lives in the UK, greeted her in the studio in Sydney’s north.
The presenter had not seen her daughter for more than a year.
“They’ve got a secret surprise for me,” she said, before a screen popped up of Chyna wishing her a happy Mother’s Day and saying, “sorry I can’t be there”.
Reduced to tears, the host composes herself briefly before her daughter appears, carrying a bunch of flowers.
“Oh my gosh…oh my gosh, oh my gosh, it’s my daughter,” Nikki said, while tears streamed down her face and the reunited pair embraced in a hug.
“How did you get here? I mean, by plane….but,” she laughs.
“I’m blown away…it’s just the best Mother’s Day present in the world,” she said.
