Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull appears to have reversed his predecessor Tony Abbott's unpopularity with female voters.
An analysis of Newspoll surveys between October and December shows support for the government among women has bounced seven points to 44 per cent, The Australian reports.
Female voters had previously preferred Opposition Leader Bill Shorten as prime minister over Mr Abbott, but they now prefer Mr Turnbull over Mr Shorten.
