The prime minister's ears will be burning after he dominated the Twitter conversation in the first four days of the campaign.
According to statistics released by Twitter, Malcolm Turnbull made up nearly 60 per cent of leader mentions on Twitter, almost double opposition leader Bill Shorten's share of the conversation across the past four days.

But in terms of parties, Labor was leading the Liberal Party by 14 per cent.
