Mum, 35, suffers serious head injuries as car drives into dealership she was leaving

A female pedestrian has been thrown up to 25 metres after a vehicle ploughed into a car dealership on NSW’s Central Coast.

The victim, a 35-year-old mum, suffered serious head and internal injuries as well as fractures to her arms and legs.

It is understood she had dropped her car off at the dealership to Johnson Road, Tuggerah for a service and was heading home just after 9am.

She was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.

The male driver of the car and his female passenger both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Gosford Hospital.

The driver has been taken to Gosford Police Station as police continue enquiries.

Police officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police district have established a crime scene.
