Murder charge laid after man found dead, two injured at Tuart Hill in Perth

A 23-year-old man has been charged with murder after one man was killed and two others seriously injured in an alleged stabbing attack in Perth's northern suburbs.

Several streets in Tuart Hill were sent into lockdown on Tuesday morning when a fight broke out between a group of men known to each other.

Detectives say a man in his 40s was taken to hospital by two friends after being stabbed at a Lena Street property.

Several streets were shut down following the alleged attacks, as police pieced together evidence of what had unfolded. 9News

When the friends returned to the home, they allegedly found the body of a 53-year-old man who lived at the property.

Another man aged in his 60s was found by police with serious injuries at a Royal Street home.

The accused will appear in Perth's Magistrates Court today.

He is facing a number of charges including murder, intentionally causing grievous bodily harm and aggravated burglary.
