Lane Cove Tunnel partially re-opens after crane fire
The Lane Cove Tunnel in Sydney has partially re-opened after a mobile crane caught fire.
The fire is in the eastbound lanes of the tunnel but it was initially closed in both directions, Live Traffic reported.
Images showed traffic backed up heavily on the M2.

Citybound lanes have now re-opened, though traffic remains backed up to Macquarie Park.
Citybound buses are no longer ending their trips at Macquarie Park, but are delayed.
Motorists and passengers are recommended to allow extra travel time.

Epping Road has been advised as an alternate route for closed lanes.
A shot from inside the tunnel showed a stationary mobile crane, with firefighters nearby.
Fire and Rescue NSW said the mobile crane caught fire at about 6.30am in the tunnel.

It was well alight when firefighters arrived, but was brought under control thanks to the tunnel sprinklers.
Firefighters fully extinguished the blaze.
Nobody was injured, but several people exited their vehicles as a precaution.
