It's one thing to merge into another vehicle because you didn't look, but it's another thing altogether to just keep on driving.

Dash cam footage recorded on Monday morning in Queensland shows a large truck and a Toyota Hilux driving side-by-side along a bridge on the Logan Motorway.

The truck suddenly crosses into the right hand lane without indicating despite the Hilux driver beeping his horn, pushing the smaller vehicle into the roadside barrier.

"You f---ing idiot," the Hilux driver says as the truck taps the brakes before driving away.

Hundreds of people weighed in on Facebook group Dash Cam Owners of Australia on whether the Hilux was in the truck's blind spot.

"I am an experienced truck driver and he wasn't in a blind spot and you would definitely know you had hit something," Aaron Sayer wrote.

"That is just pure negligence on the truck driver's part."
