Truck driver charged after five injured in multi-car crash in Sydney
A truck driver has been charged after a multi-car crash on Parramatta Road at Five Dock in Sydney earlier this month.
Seven cars and a truck collided at the intersection of Parramatta Road and Great North Road in Sydney's Inner West on January 12, hospitalising six people.
At the time, police said they believed the driver of the truck continued through the intersection heading eastbound, causing the collision with cars headed westbound.

The Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit seized the truck for a mechanical examination.
The 53-year-old truck driver has now been charged with nine offences, including five counts of causing bodily harm by misconduct in charge of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, two counts of negligent driving, and not stopping at a stop line or red light.
He will appear in Burwood Local Court on Thursday, March 14.
