Two injured in Mareeba crane rollover

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crane rollover in Far North Queensland.
Police were called to Mareeba Dimbula Road shortly after 9.30am where they found a mobile crane overturned with two men inside.

A 52-year-old man was airlifted to Cairns Base Hospital with serious injuries while a 38-year-old man was transported to Mareeba Hospital, also with serious injuries.
The road has been closed between Carmen and Springs roads and traffic is being diverted. Some road repairs will be necessary.
