Treasury boss worried about rising debt

Treasury boss John Fraser is concerned about rising debt levels.

Mr Fraser has told a Senate estimates hearing the Australian economy is in "great shape" while pointing to the risk posed by people thinking borrowing rates will continue to be low.

"We are perhaps being succumbed into a sense of comfort that we can continue to borrow at remarkably low interest rates," he said on Wednesday.
