Train with 300 passengers collides with truck on tracks in Brisbane
A train with 300 passengers on board crashed into a truck sitting on the tracks in south Brisbane today.
Emergency services were called to Bonemill Road in Runcorn about 6.58am following reports a train had collided with a semi-trailer.
The driver was not inside the truck at the time of the crash.

The train had 300 people on board when it hit a truck sitting on the tracks. 9News
It is believed the truck was on the tracks due to a mechanical issue.
The train driver was also assessed at the scene and had no reported injuries.
One passenger in his 30s reported having back pain following the crash.
Queensland Ambulance said all three declined transport to hospital.

No other passengers were injured in the collision.
The crash caused significant delays on the Beenleigh and Gold Coast lines.
Translink reported there were delays of up to an hour due during peak time.
The train schedule returned to normal about 11.30am.
