Bones found by Melbourne tradie remain a mystery

Remains found by a tradie in Melbourne's west on Friday are still a mystery, with testing yet to reveal their origins.

The bones were discovered by a worker who was excavating by the side of the road in Werribee South.

Police set up a crime scene at the site before taking the bones to be analysed, but it is still not known whether the remains are human.
