Tourist dead in NT 4WD rollover

A female tourist is dead after the 4WD she was travelling in rolled on a Northern Territory highway.

The woman died in the crash on the Lasseter Highway, southwest of Alice Springs, at 5pm on Friday.

The male driver was injured and was treated at the scene.

Northern Territory police said the pair were interstate tourists.
