Tornado sends baggage flying at US airport

Shaken passengers watched as a tornado touched down at an airport in the US, flinging baggage around.

Two tornadoes were reported in Fort Lauderdale in Florida this week, with one at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

The tornado was an EF0, meaning it recorded relatively low wind speeds.

However, it was enough to shock passengers who watched and recorded footage of the storm.

It also knocked over baggage trolleys and sent bags and suitcases flying across the airport.

James Couch, who recorded one of the videos, told Storyful, “I was at the airport when I suddenly heard a gust of wind. I looked outside and saw this scene.”
