Top NSW cop's son, 20, charged with drink driving while suspended

The son of NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller has been charged after allegedly drink-driving while his provisional licence was suspended.

Jacob Fuller, 20, was charged after he allegedly blew 0.031 at a roadside random breath testing site on the Princes Highway, at Waterfall in Sydney's south, in the early hours of Sunday.

Fuller is on his P-plates, which carry a zero-alcohol limit.

In a statement to AAP on Tuesday, NSW Police said a 20-year-old man had pulled up short of the breath testing site, prompting officers to approach his vehicle.

After he returned a positive roadside breath test a check of the man's provisional licence revealed it was suspended.

Fuller was charged with driving with a special range PCA and driving while suspended. He will face Sutherland Local Court on October 17.
