Toddler saved from fire in NSW's south

A toddler has been rescued from a house fire at North Nowra on the NSW South Coast.
The house was well alight when firefighters responded about 8.25am (AEDT) on Thursday, but it was eventually controlled and extinguished.
A young girl had been rescued from the house before firefighters arrived.

The child has been taken to Shoalhaven Hospital as a precaution.
Police have established a crime scene and specialist fire and police officers are investigating the cause of the blaze.
