Clarification - Weekend Today Show, Sunday June 23 2024

On Sunday June 23, Weekend Today Show broadcast a report about health issues associated with alcohol use amongst women.

That report contained images of a woman depicted pouring a glass of wine, in a general illustrative context only.

We clarify that there is no suggestion that the woman depicted in those images is in any way engaged in or associated with problematic drinking behaviours or any of the related health issues that were the subject of the report.

Weekend Today Show sincerely apologises to the woman depicted for any confusion arising from use of the image.
