The Warwick Rowers

They’re the world-famous calendar boys whose buff British bodies adorn kitchen walls in over 80 countries around the world. 

The Warwick Rowers’ annual calendar first came about in 2009 to raise funds for the university boat club. The shoot took place in one day, in the freezing cold, and it raised a lowly £300. Now, it raises a six-figure sum every year, with celebrity fans including Kris Jenner, Kylie Minogue and Sir Ian McKellen.

This month, the boys are inviting Australian rowers to join them in producing a book, film and possibly a calendar to commemorate Australia’s leadership in LGBTQI rights.

Angus Malcolm, Producer of the calendar, and his team have just arrived in Australia and are now recruiting local rowers for the project. The Australian rowers will then be joined by some of the 2018 Warwick calendar stars to shoot together over the Christmas/New Year period.
