Christopher Nolan has shared the first trailer for his new star-studded film Oppenheimer.

The film follows the story of the man known as the father of the atomic bomb and drops in cinemas July 21.

It looks fun, Book Club 2: The Next Chapter premieres May 11.

And someone splashed a lot of cash just to take home a piece of cinema history.

The mechanical model of ET used in the 1982 classic film sold for more than $3.5 million at auction.

That wasn't the only movie memorabilia up for auction, the BMX bike used by a stunt rider - not the one in the film - sold for $170,000.

And if you thought Tom Cruise was slowing things down, you're wrong.

He has undertaken the biggest stunt in cinema history, riding a motorcycle off a cliff and completing a base jump.

The stunt will feature in his upcoming film Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.
