This month marks 50 years since ABBA were crowned winners of Eurovision with their song Waterloo.

Organisers have said they're planning quite a show to celebrate the historic moment, with plans for the band to make a surprise appearance, but not as you might think.

Despite the contest being held in ABBA's home country of Sweden this year, the group has refused to reunite for the show's live final in May.

Instead, producers of Eurovision are hinting that holographic projections used to create London's iconic ABBA Voyage show will somehow be incorporated into the ceremony.

It's also been suggested that a range of pop stars could be drafted in to sing a medley of hit ABBA songs.

A Eurovision spokesperson has said they will reveal more in the coming weeks.
