What to expect from the upcoming Joe versus Carole series

Netflix has a jam-packed slate of movies for 2022.

This morning the streaming giant shared teases for every film being released, including Knives Out 2, Lindsay Lohan's new Christmas movie and other A-list projects with stars like Eddie Murphy, Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling.

There are a total of 86 movies coming out this year!

It was the story that captivated the world at the start of the pandemic and introduced us to Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.

Now, their story is set to return to our screens in the highly-anticipated drama series, Joe versus Carole.

The scripted adaptation, which was filmed in Queensland, stars Kate McKinnon as Carole Baskin.

Joe vs Carole will be out March 4, only on Stan.

Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are reuniting for a documentary titled Still Working Nine To Five.

The film will see the actors discuss their time on set while also exploring workplace inequality in the 40 years since its release.

A new version of Parton's song 9 to 5 will feature in the documentary - it'll be performed by both Parton and Kelly Clarkson.

Still Working 9 to 5 is set to be released in March.

Julia Roberts and Sean Penn are nearly unrecognisable in the first teaser for their upcoming series Gaslit, based on the 1972 Watergate scandal.

Gaslit will premiere April 24, only on Stan.

Russell Crowe will resume filming his blockbuster thriller, Poker Face in Sydney this month after Covid forced production to shut down last year.

Crowe will direct and star in the action movie alongside Liam Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky.

They're planning to film a number of key scenes down under, including a car chase in and around Sydney's Harbour Tunnel.

The BAFTA awards have been announced.

This year, Dune is the most nominated film with a total of 11 nods.

Some notable names on this list include Lady Gaga, Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Smith.

Shockingly, Kristen Stewart's Princess Diana Diana biopic Spencer did not receive any nominations.

After two years of postponements and cancellations, live music is back, with the return of a major concert series set to take over hundreds of venues across the state.

Great Southern Nights is a three-week program, which begins in March - it'll see big-name artists like Jimmy Barnes and Amy Shark perform at gigs all over Australia.
