The Sydney Royal Easter Show is known for the huge range of quality fresh locally made products for Aussies to enjoy.

And after 30 years of spicing things up at the show with their range of sauces and rubs, Leichhardt-based The Chilli Factory decided to test the Today hosts' tolerance for their products.

Weekend Today hosts, Clint Stanaway and Jayne Azzopardi were filling in for Karl and Sarah this morning and they had no idea what they were in for.

The pair started out with the Fiery Frill Neck Kiss, which left Clint coughing almost as soon as the corn chip it was on went down.

Jayne tried out the Ballistic Bee Sting, a chilli honey The Chilli Factory's Daniel Morgan said goes great on a cheese board or accompanying fried chicken.

The next one they tried was Scorpion Strike, a sauce Daniel said is the first in their "adult range" of sauces.

"I'd recommend going lightly on that one - we don't let anyone under 18 try it because we do practice the responsible service of chilli, but it's certainly got some kick to it," he said.

Clint was struggling to talk after this one, but luckily the pair had some yoghurt on hand to cool back down.
