Ally Langdon breaks down on air after organ donation segment
Today host Ally Langdon was left in tears after she presented a segment on organ donation this morning.
It's an issue that hits close to home for the journalist, as her little sister Kristen's life depended on one.
Kristen was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 11.

In 2010, shortly after giving birth to her first child, Kristen was in urgent need of a kidney transplant. She eventually required a pancreas-kidney transplant.
For months, the Langdons watched on as doctors tried to find a match for Kristen.
Finally in 2014 Kristen got the life-saving call.
Memories were brought up for Langdon as she told the story of Brooke and Ibrahim Urasli.
The couple was forced to make the impossible choice to donate their son Zane's organs after the three-year-old was hit by the family van in 2017.

Langdon started crying as her interview with the parents finished.
She turned to co-host Karl Stefanovic and said organ donation was an important issue, and called for more people to register as donors.
Stefanovic handed Langdon a tissue as she shared her family's story. Today
"We have my sister because of organ donation. Nearly six years," she said as Stefanovic handed her a tissue.
"And she is about to have another baby. Just something none of us thought would happen."
Stefanovic was moved by Langdon's emotional reaction.
"You are a beautiful woman Ally and that is such a lovely thing to share with everyone," he said.
"It is such an important message at this time. Because it is something that you need to sit down with your family and to plan. "We have seen life comes from those worst possible circumstances. Your sister's included."

Langdon added: "It is such a gift to give that.
"It is Donate Life Week and you can learn more about the cause head to donatelife.gov.au.
"You need to go online to register to be a donor.
"That is, I think, the most important message to get out this week."
