The Today team are lucky enough to be broadcasting live from the United Arab Emirates this week, at the luxurious Atlantis: The Palm resort in Dubai.

But while Karl, Sarah, Jayne and Dickie have been enjoying all that's on offer on the grounds of the resort, weather presenter, Timmy has been having an adventure under the sea.

From a relaxing bath in one of the hotel's underwater suites to diving even deeper into Atlantis' Lost Chambers Aquarium for a spot of relaxing yoga as thousands of fish, sharks and rays swim all around the countless floor-to-ceiling windows.

There is no shortage of fun and excitement in the waters of Atlantis.

But of all the things Timmy's had the opportunity to experience as Today's weather presenter, reading the national forecast 20 metres under the sea is a new one.

"I have entered the Ambassador Lagoon here, I've been saying all morning, I'm super happy watching from the other side of the glass, but this is extraordinary," he said from behind his special scuba suit helmet.

"I've got all these rays sleeping on the ground just in front of me, so I'm being very careful about where I walk, but this is one of many phenomenal experiences you can have in Dubai.

"Let me tell you, there are some rather large sharks swimming around behind me, but I'm not going to look at those for just a minute, I'm going to read the forecast instead."
