Sylvia Jeffreys surprised for 40th birthday
It was a fun-filled show on Today Extra this morning, with Sylvia Jeffreys being surprised for her her birthday.
The host celebrates her 40th birthday today and co-host David Campbell had a couple of surprises up his sleeve thanks to the help of friend Richard Wilkins and the Today Extra team.
Sylvia was treated to a video featuring sweet birthday wishes from sports stars, music stars, work colleagues and even Jimmy Barnes and Richard Marx themselves.

She was also treated to a special birthday message from her husband Pete and sister Claire, before being presented with a custom-made cake and flowers.
"You are so loved by so many people and even the viewers watching at home have been sending in messages all morning," DC said.
"I'm crying because I am just so happy and I am so grateful and if I say too much I will really start to ugly cry," Sylvia said, wiping tears from her eyes.

"Look at that cast of friends and Jimmy Barnes and Richard Marx! I am so blessed and so rich in life because of the wonderful people who are in it.
"I am happy to be 40, I am happy to be sitting here and reflecting on the first 40, which would have been rubbish without all of you wonderful people."
