Stars of The Bear prepare for emotional farewell
It’s the hit show that’s captivated audiences the world over and won a stack of Emmys along the way, but now, The Bear is gearing up to say goodbye, with the final season premiering today.
Season five sees Jeremy Allen White and all your favourites return, as the crew band together for one final dinner to achieve a Michelin star following Carmy’s (Allen White) decision to leave at the end of season four.

“I felt so lucky from day one, stepping onto this set and getting to know all these people, our crew, our cast, I think we did everything we could do and we got to make this show on our own terms and I am really grateful for that,” Allen White told Today.
“But goodbyes are always gonna be hard and when a good thing is good, you don’t want it to end, so it’s bittersweet.”
The final season of The Bear takes place over one evening as the kitchen team prepare for a final big dinner as a storm brews outside, with tensions clear as the few who do know of Carmy’s plans to say goodbye struggle with his decision.
“(This season) is really about the kitchen coming together and trying to succeed and shine… everything seems to be going wrong and resilience is necessary,” Allen White said.
