Senator Jacqui Lambie has said Scott Morrison continuing to be an MP "taints" the Federal Parliament, but insisted voters in the former PM's electorate should have the final say on his future.

Lambie was speaking on Today this morning ahead of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese receiving advice from the Solicitor General about Morrison swearing himself into five ministries.

"I think it taints the rest of us and that gets under my skin, to be honest with you."
