'She just loves being on air': Sarah's on-air blunder leaves Today host red-faced
Her beloved Collingwood won over the weekend in their match against Adelaide but that still didn't stop Sarah from suffering a bout of the Monday brain fuzzies on the show this morning.
The Today host was meant to be off-camera while her co-host, Karl Stefanovic was conducting an interview with lawyer Sam Macedone just after 7am.
But while his guest was speaking, the studio camera caught something happening in the background of the frame.

There was Sarah, oblivious to what was happening just a metre away, strolling by in the background - reading her notes before her next segment.
It wasn't until a producer off-camera caught her attention, Sarah realised the blunder live on camera!
Her face said it all as her eyes lit up and she hurried back the way she came, quickly out of view.
But of course, Karl being Karl, he wasn't going to let it slide.
"Good to talk to you, Sam and Sarah made a special appearance behind you during the course of that," he chuckled.

Both men found it amusing but Sarah appeared mortified as she apologised profusely.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I was just wandering aimlessly," she said blushing.
"I'm very sorry about that, that's embarrassing."
