Hollywood A-lister fills in for Today hosts
He has played an alien avatar, a cyborg, the son of a Greek god and starred in countless other film and TV projects over the past two decades.
But Sam Worthington's latest role might leave Today host Karl Stefanovic feeling a little nervous.
While promoting their new project, the Stan original film Transfusion, Worthington and his young co-star Edward Carmody crossed to the Today team at the Australian Open - from their chairs at the Today desk in Nine's Sydney studios.

"You're looking very good on the Today show set," Karl told his guests.
"But I don't want you to ever consider a change."
Karl's co-host Sarah Abo even suggested Worthington looked better than she and Karl did at the desk, but he told them: "You put me against a young guy, I'm looking my age here".
"Now you know how Karl feels sitting next to us," a cheeky Brooke chimed in.
That Stan original film Transfusion is streaming from today and in select cinemas now.
