Craig Foster 'surprised' Football Australia kept in dark over Kerr allegations

Former Socceroo Craig Foster is "surprised" Matildas star Sam Kerr kept Football Australia in the dark about allegations she racially harassed a London police officer.

Kerr faced court in London this week and pleaded not guilty to the charge, which relates to an incident in Twickenham in January last year.

Her trial is scheduled for February 2025, but she will be back in court in April this year in an attempt to have the charges dropped.

"I have to say, you know, as the captain of the national team, I would have thought that perhaps just in the shadow of the hearing that Football Australia should have been informed," Foster said on Today.
