Flood victims 'have no choice but to stay' as threat continues
As more devastating weather threatens south-east Queensland, residents say they have no choice but to stay and try to salvage what they can.
Linda Godley's property in Grantham, in the Lockyer Valley, was destroyed in 2011 and she told Today it took seven years before her family was back on their feet.
Now, floodwaters have swept through again, leaving her heartbroken and unsure of how she'll pull through a second time.

"I just woke up this morning and looked out the window hoping it didn't happen," Linda told Today, wiping tears from her eyes.
While many people impacted by the floods are choosing to pack up and leave, Linda said it was not an option for her family.
"Where do we go? We have no money. Insurance doesn't pay you out, not everybody," she said.
"Where do we go? At our age, the bank is not going to give us money, we have nowhere to go."
Linda said she is a low-income earner and has fought all her life to be able to afford her own home.

Now, the dressmaker's sewing machines and vehicles have been destroyed.
"We fought all our lives to get our own home and we have fought all these years still again," she said.
"We just got on our feet and were starting to enjoy life - now we've just lost it all again."
