Karl Stefanovic 'replaced' on Today
Today Show host Karl Stefanovic has been left red-faced after being told controversial UK television personality Piers Morgan would be replacing him on the popular breakfast show.
Piers surprised Karl and Ally this morning, telling the Today hosts "I like it - this feels natural to me".

"The good news for Ally is that she's finally got someone next to her who is handsome, younger, better accent and a proven track record of smashing ratings records on breakfast television," said a grinning Piers, who is in Australia ahead of the launch of a new primetime show which will air on Sky News Australia.
"It just feels like, you know, Karl who? That's showbiz- he made the fatal strategic error of letting me sit in his chair- it just immediately feels natural."
As Karl sat grimacing a few metres away from the desk, Piers told Ally she looked much happier and alive with her new "co-host".
"I didn't know what joy was for the last two years," Ally said.
Karl was not impressed with the stitch-up. Today
Piers said he missed breakfast television and it was great to be back.
"You know what, it feels right, this chemistry, immediately - bouncing off each other," Piers assured Ally.
