Melbourne burger joint creates Karl Stefanovic burger
A Melbourne burger chain has come good on a promise and created a "spicy" burger named after Today host Karl Stefanovic.
Burgertory founder Hash Tayeh unveiled the "Wrath of Karl" on air this morning, a month after his first appearance on Today, when he promised to create a "Karl burger".
Mr Tayeh was more than excited to run both Stefanovic and co-host Ally Langdon through the "limited" $16 creation.

The burger is apparently "wicked" spicy. Today
It starts with a "wicked" spicy homemade chilli sauce. Then it features some hand cut pickles, two smashed patties "drooling" in melted with cheese, maple-glazed bacon, red onions, house made mayonnaise, red onion, maple glazed bacon, all on a charcoal infused bun, Mr Tayeh revealed.
As the creation was unveiled, Stefanovic burst into laughter, saying "ohhhh yeah".

Mr Tayeh launched a Burgertory store on Chapel Street in the middle of lockdown and has been surviving by offering takeaway.

Tonight he will welcome his first in-person customers, when restrictions ease in locked-down city from midnight.
"To say I'm buzzing is an understatement," Mr Tayeh said this morning.
"I'm over the moon. The announcement yesterday honestly felt like there was pressure lifted off my chest.
"We're all so excited to be able to welcome people back into dine in. Just to have customers back walk in and some sense of normality."
