Nicki Minaj could be facing criminal charges for an alleged incident involving a former tour employee.

The rapper is reportedly being sued for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress by a man who alleges the Grammy nominated performer struck him in the face during a confrontation.

In a complaint filed in Los Angeles, Brandon Garrett claims he was working as a day to day manager on her Pink Friday II tour early last year, when Minaj allegedly hit him multiple times backstage at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, following a performance on April 21.

In a statement shared with Variety, Minaj's lawyer Judge Bernstein, denies these allegations and said no complaint has been officially served upon the singer.

And James Packer is making his grand comeback to the business world, according to a News Corp exclusive.

The billionaire is understood to be rebooting his Hollywood production company Rat Pack, with a documentary on Melania Trump.

Reports suggest the first lady is in talks with Packer and his filmmaking partner Brett Ratner and the doco is set to give audiences a peek behind the curtain of her notoriously private life and relationship with the incoming US president.

There will also be never before seen insights into life in the White House with Trump, that is quite a scoop, isn't it?

It's understood the major global streaming service has already paid tens of millions of dollars for this project.

And the smash hit series Squid Game has once again taken over the world, with season two being released less than two weeks ago and a cliff-hanger leaving fans speculating all about season three, which is set for release later this year.

The director has hinted there is even more to come from the Korean thriller series, telling The Hollywood Reporter if the time comes and it just so happens that he is able to come up with a character or a different story, then maybe there might be a comeback.

But I'm thinking more along the lines of a spin off.

Finally, Lisa Kudrow has revealed her first impression of fellow Friends co-star, the late Matthew Perry, at their first table read together.

Speaking on the US Today Show, Kudrow recalled his hilarious nature.

"He was so smart, so funny, uniquely funny - we had that first table read and what Matthew was doing didn't sound like what I thought I was going to hear," Kudrow said.

"It was like nothing I've ever heard before, I went, 'oh boy, Matthew', I was blown away - it was hilarious."
