'Is Natalie Imbruglia from Australia?': Lewis Capaldi's shock realisation ahead of ARIA hosting duties
Scottish chart topper Lewis Capaldi has revealed how little he knows about his upcoming gig hosting this year's ARIAS.
The singer told Today's Brooke Boney he only found out he was hosting the event at the last minute when he actually opened the email from his manager.
But it was another bit of trivia about his co-host Natalie Imbruglia that took the 26-year-old by surprise during his interview with Today's Brooke Boney.

Lewis Capaldi caught up with Brooke Boney to chat about his upcoming ARIA hosting gig and busking with Niall Horan. Today

"I am excited about the prospect of (hosting) - It feels good," Capaldi told Today.
"It is nice to be asked and I hope I am getting paid whatever Natalie is getting paid."
Capaldi said he would be singing his new song 'Forget Me' at the awards night.
"That is the one thing I am sure of that is happening on the evening," he said.

When Brooke suggested maybe he could also sing Imbruglia's 1997 hit 'Torn', Capaldi learned something new about his co-host.
"Oh maybe, who knows - is Natalie Imbruglia from Australia?" he said.
"Yeah, she is from Australia," Brooke informed him.
"That's huge news!" he replied.
The 36th annual ARIAs will air live on Channel Nine on November 24 from 7.30pm.
