Lady Gaga has performed the biggest concert of her career overnight, pulling a record-breaking crowd of two and a half million people at Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Beach.

There was also an alleged bomb threat which was thwarted with two individuals arrested and local authorities continuing their investigation.

Although, it is clear Gaga is going from strength to strength ahead of her Mayhem Tour, which hits Australia in December.

Meantime, Australia's pop princess Kylie Minogue has wound up the US leg of her Tension Tour.

It was a full house, with Kylie saying: "I get very emotional thinking about this, it's been a lifetime and sometimes it just amazes me so I am very, very grateful - thank you so much for being here".

And it was a full house, she also brought out English pop star Rita Ora for a little Spinning Around.

And there is no stopping America's latest it boy, Benson Boone, who made his Saturday Night Live debut alongside host Quinta Brunson.

His set was full of his usual flair, not skipping out on any of the aerial dramatics.
