Today hosts get emotional on first day of school
There are a lot of parents across NSW this morning who may be struggling to keep their nerves together, with children going back to school.
And Today's very own Karl Stefanovic and Jayne Azzopardi were among those anxious mums and dads, with their little ones, Harper and Joey, both preparing for their first day of kindergarten.
Jayne took the day off work this morning to make sure her little man, Joey, was all set for his first day and Karlos ducked out early to give Jasmine and his mother-in-law Chez a hand with young Harper.

"It's been busy, we've done breakfast, the bag's ready, the lunch is packed and we've got the mother-in-law, Chez-dog here just to make sure everything goes smooth," Karl said.
Jayne on the other hand, was taking a bit more of a calm approach to little Joey's first day.
"We haven't put the uniform on yet, we think it might be best to do that at the last minute," she said.
"Last night I was looking at all the baby photos and I can't believe my boy is about to start school."
