‘Just you wait...’ Grammy-nominee teases Australian leg of upcoming tour
Gracie Abrams has fast become one of the most popular artists in the world with an American Music Award, iHeart Radio Wards and two Grammy nominations under her belt.
Today entertainment reporter, Renee Bargh, was thrilled to sit down with the 26-year-old to discuss her third record, songwriting and whether she plans to head back to Australia anytime soon.

Gracie kicks off The Look At My Life Tour in December, visiting venues in the US, UK and Europe to play her biggest hits and songs from the new album, Daughter From Hell.
But Renee just had to press whether a visit Down Under could be added to the tour itinerary.
“Just you wait, sister, whenever the day comes that I get to be back in your home, I will be very excited,” she said.
“Songwriting for me, has always been what I’ve turned to when I have felt rattled or unsettled or insecure... I think it’s been this overflowing, gorgeous gift of the most unbelievable support I’ve ever had in my life.”
Asked whether being in a stable relationship (with BAFTA-winner Paul Mescal) has changed how she writes her music, Gracie told Renee it has invigorated her to write even more.
“It makes me want to write a trillion times more, I don’t have the same typical questions that I have before that I’ve written 100 songs about, like, what’s it going to be? But it’s been really lovely,” she said.
