'The first 100 days will probably be the hardest of his entire administration'
A former senior adviser to Donald Trump has predicted President Joe Biden's first 100 days in office will be the hardest of his entire administration.
Omarosa Manigault Newman, former Director of Communications at the White House and author of 'Unhinged', told Today the road may be rocky but Mr Biden's experience will help him weather the storm.
"It is going to be a very heavy, heavy load for him to lift and the path forward is going to be very rocky," Ms Newman said.

"The first 100 days will probably be the hardest of his entire administration. He is facing crises like no President has ever seen; economic crisis, a pandemic, racial divides in a nation that has so much uncertainty...
"(But) he has so much experience and has surrounded himself with people who know how to run the Government on Day One.
"Joe Biden will be able to navigate situations because he's been in Washington for 45-plus years and he has seen every type of crisis you can imagine."
Mr Biden has already begun the work of president, signing a series of executive orders that will undo much of Donald Trump's legacy.

Ms Newman added she couldn't help but get emotional watching Kamala Harris get sworn in as Vice President.
"As a woman of colour who has worked in politics for 20 years, I have to tell you today was so incredibly special for me," she said.
"I will tell you that this was such an important moment for little young girls who never imagined they would see someone who looks like them in the White House serving at the highest levels of the Government.

Ms Newman couldn't help but be bolstered by the jubilant scenes she witnessed in Washington DC.
"Today is an historic day, even the mood in Washington is completely different, as I walk through these barricades and you see people, they are jubilant, even though the city is locked down," she said.
"Today is a new day and Biden-Harris administration has taken the reins."
