What's happening in entertainment news today
The biggest names in music, film and television have come together to celebrate the 2024 BET Awards in LA.
The event included a tribute to Usher, who took home the lifetime achievement award, as well as a performance of Will Smith's new song, You Can Make It.

Sir Ian McKellen has confirmed he will not be returning to the stage after a mid-performance fall last month.
He is still coming to screens though, with trailer for his new film, The Critic, out now.
The Critic will hit cinemas this October and you can check the preview out in the video above.
And Cobra Kai fans have been given a first look at the final season for The Karate Kid spin-off series.
Season six comes to Netflix on July 18.

Finally, Halsey has teased a new music video clip on Instagram, sampling Britney Spears' 2000 hit Lucky.
Halsey's fifth studio album will be out soon and you can check out the teaser for her new song in the video above.
