As Ms Gordon slowly opened the door after Today reporter Sarah Stewart knocked, the shock was written on her face.

She thought she was just meeting her mother for breakfast.

After introducing herself, Stewart announced Ms Gordon was the recipient of $10,000.

Her reaction was immediate. She burst into tears and started shaking.
